can u install 3GS iOS4 on a 3G

Could be a bit stupid but i was wondering if i could download the 3GS firmware for installing on my 3G?
Though i guess ut might be locked to the specific phone, i presume someone will know

I was gonna wait anyways! (sorry I didnt specify)
I was only wondering if when it comes out I could install the 3GS firmware as it has multitasking and stuff.
I'd rather not jailbreak to get multitasking but if its the only way, I'll do it!
