It's the first 5.0 guys can't we wait for software updates , I figure by now we all know when you first the first batch of something we are really considered the testers and for that we should wait and see what the update brings, apple will soon release updates for every issues that have been brought up.

Enjoy your phone and let's wait for the updates to come

Ps. Apple is kind enough to offer a 1 year warranty , not just any 1 year warranty , but the best of it's kind.

1. Siri not working
2. Battery Drain
3. Crackling ear pieces
4. Less than stellar quality control
5. Bugs in iOS5 which is a big part of the whole launch.
6. Some weird issues with the oscillator in the phone making noise.

So the only things that went smoothly are the A5 chip and the camera? That sound about right?

Well no, people pointing out the issues is probably a good thing.

If there are some major issues, I want apple and other's to know about it so they can fix it ASAP

Let's do a poll. I have none of these, except maybe number 5.

Dude, if your phone is having all these problems, get yourself a Genius Bar appointment.

Seriously. My and my wife's 4S's exhibit NONE of these issues.

Was just a list of things you can see people experiencing. Don't have any of those issues, don't have a 4s. :D

Updates are going to be quicker now.. That's why there's ota now

Why would update be quicker just because they're OTA. All that means is you don't have to be tethered to your computer to download them. They still need to go through the proper testing/approval just like the ones that would come out and you'd connect your phone to your computer.

iOS5 seems like a sloppy release. I stayed on 4.0 for over a year (jailbroken) and the OS had a lot less issues and bugs than OS5.

I have #6 badly, and a ton of other people are as well. Someone mentioned that all of the display models in an Apple store had this issue. I'm going to attempt to fix it myself.

For shame!!!!!!! How dare you throw out an accusation like that. Apple would never!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I love this forum.

Little quirks aside, this thing is truly magical. No, it's not perfect. It's made by humans who, by definition, are imperfect beings. But this model takes the idea of a "smart" phone to a new level. It may not have the best camera, or the most RAM, or the biggest screen, but it outsmarts every other phone out there. Between iCloud, iTunes, Siri, the App Store (none of which are a component of the phone), the A5, the retina display (albeit a tiny one), and top notch service and support, there is no way Samsung, Google, HTC or Microsoft can catch up any time soon.

And wait until the iPhone 5 comes out.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha

1. My siri works great
2. My battery works great
3. Crystal clear audio
4. QC in what..?
5. Some random sound level changes
6. see 5.

Relax? Fanboys don't relax.

They've got to have their instant gratification. It's the product of expectations cleverly created by the Apple Hype Machine.

Remember they're not interested in being reasonable, thinking, or applying common sense. They want it all now!

And while you're at it, make the screen bigger!

Dang the battery!

And lower the PPI? That's not gonna happen. We were all told 326 is money, lowering that is confirming to everyone that the next phone has an inferior screen. Poorer battery life and inferior screen, we are going backwards, no?

The only thing I noticed is a little faster battery drain than my previous i4. But not that much of a difference. It might be cause Im using it more to find out all features and test out Siri.
Other than that I dont have any of the above issues.
Oh and the enable/disable 3G switch missing in settings is a small annoyance.

The only bug I seem to have with iOS5 on iPhone 4 is ............ Sometimes WiFi sync stalls. And my Wifi connection is definitely ruled out as being the cause.

Everything else is great.
