I was hoping that someone could tell me if we can change out the processor on the Macbook air i have the i5 and i wanna go with the i5 quad core

damn i really wanna keep my macbook but i need a better processor. Thanks for the help

Almost no laptops have socketed CPUs that you can change out.

A quad core i5 wouldn't work in a Macbook Air anyway. The Air uses ultra low voltage processors with lower power requirements and heat generation than normal laptop processors. It wouldn't have the power supply or the cooling power to handle such a processor.
