I'm a brand new Mac user and am wondering...

Can we change swipe assignments. For instance, I want to change the 4 finger left/right swipe gesture (which brings up a list of all open programs) to call up Spaces. Is this possible?

no but as alternatives you could designate a single-swipe toward a corner of your choice by assigning an Active Screen Corner to Spaces (from: :apple: > Sys Prefs... > Exposé & Spaces > Exposé), &/or assign a function key &/or mouse button to activate Spaces (from: :apple: > Sys Prefs... > Exposé & Spaces > Spaces).

My personal pref is to have the upper-right corner show All Windows (Exposé) while the lower-right corner activates Spaces.

I want this too. If I want the application switcher, I'll hit CMD+TAB. I want 4 finger right/left to take me to the next/previous spaces. That would be a billion times more useful.

I don't really like hot corners and I already have a keyboard shortcut. I think we should be able to customize the swipe/gesture commands.
