Can we configure the RAM on the MacBook Pro mid-2012 to 12GB?

Greetings all, I just joined this forum. :)
I have a question about the MacBook Pro 15-inch mid-2012 non-retina.
On the apple site memory offered by Apple for this MacBook Pro is 8GB. I have a question, whether it can be configurable with 16GB?

Because I see some distributors like OWC and Crucial sell memory for this MacBook Pro. I've been looking for a reviews about memory upgrade for MacBook Pro 15-inch non-retina in Google, but not found. Can anyone answer my question?
