Can we Disable Push of Gmail Spam on our iPhones?

Ever since I got Gmail Push on my iPhone, not only do I get my mail right away with a sound alert (which is great) but I also get the sound alert when my Spam folder receives a new spam mail (not so great).

These alerts are becoming annoying since I have a lot of spam! Anyway to disable Push notifications of Gmail Spam for my iPhone ????

Setting, Mail contact & calender, select your exchange account and go down to mail folders to push.
