Can we expect the 2021 MacBook Pro to support 2 external monitors?

I am in need of a new Mac and am pretty much settled on an M1 MacBook pro. I would have ordered it already but I have read that it does not support more than 1 external monitor. Is this something we can assume will be fixed with the 2021 version? I would order the new 14" model as soon as it's available if so, but if only 1 is supported it's kind of a deal breaker for me. Kind of a weird oversight for a Pro laptop honestly.

I’d hope so but Apple may not see it as important. You can use a Displaylink adapter for a second screen already. But the experience isn’t quite as good as native support.
