Texas, unfortunately.
It's really annoying to see a whole bunch of Zune threads in the iPod/iTunes forum. It's for iPods and iTunes right? NOT the Zune.

Or maybe they can be posted somewhere else? Just a thought.

Zune fever will pass.

Or we could gently remind them to post over at zunescene. Too many Zune threads will drive away regular members looking for good iPod/iTunes discussions. We could wasteland them...

A Zune forum hot on the heels of the Windows on the Mac forum would be a sad day for MR. I think people should just start their Zune threads in the Wasteland straightaway. ;)

They could go in the Apple, Industry and Internet Discussion forum, but many of the threads do end up comparing the Zune to the iPod, so I think the iPod forum is generally fine for these types of threads.

Nah, all this Zune talk will eventually pass, just like Thanksgiving dinner. (Hmm, the same color too...)

Just let the threads be, they'll eventually be wastelanded... ;)

Well, shouldn't all Zune posts be in the Windows on Mac forum anyways? This is strictly a Windows product, so it should be contained/restricted in the Windows on Mac forum.

As for Windows on Mac having it's own forum, the plus side is that I can select it's content to be ignored when searching recent posts... though dealing with Windows on Mac sites is still a bad idea. How many sites devoted to Windows include a Mac forum? How many Mac-only things became Windows things because Windows was given a foot hold?

Lets hope we won't see the day when MR become WR!

how about you start your own site with your own forums? I suggest you call it MoneySoftRumors.com....

It's been a while since I checked out http://www.dellrumors.com/

They've had a redesign! And new content too! :D ;)

gekko513 wrote in noting that Dell laptops continue to be overpriced and underpowered compared to their Core Duo-based competitors. Dell obviously believes their superior hardware design and consumer software packages allows them to charge a premium.

He sure gets around, doesn't he? :)

We could sum that forum up as follows:

This line is classic,
Welcome to the new DellRumors.com!

We've updated the site with new graphics and developed a new content management system to handle our stories. We're still working on some features (comments, for example), so please bear with us. If you would like to contribute to the site, please use the new Submit Rumor link above. Thanks!
If those are updated graphics I need glasses.:p  :D

So far this seems to be the most logical place.

I don't think Zune should get it's own forum of no other MP3 players get their own forum either.

Well said, Shard. Your post was both accurate and well-put. :)
