Nope. Not those watches. Because they are fixated in such a way that you can't pick them up and put them on.

Many stores will have a few walkins but go early. As the day progresses and the list fills up eventually they will run out of slots. Just like what happens with the Genius Bar

15 Minutes..

I walked right in at 4:40, was with a specialist in 10 minutes, can't wait for my SS with Black Poly band to arrive, the Sport watches looked kinda like the 5C vs the 5S to me.

I had an appointment but I am pretty sure they would have shown me the watch without an appointment. It was early not many people so I think they were already helping some without appointments . Think it depends on the store and crowd .

I went in on the 10th about 2 hours earlier than my scheduled appointment. I was able to try the watches on.

I walked away and came back and asked to try them on again about 15 minutes later (still not sure which size I like).

The result is I have 2 preorders: 1 Space Gray Sport 38mm for May 13-24 delivery (ordered at 3AM) and 1 Space Gray Sport 42mm for June.

I really want the 42mm, but it may actually be too big for me. I'm going to try them on again this week to decide.

Yes, I walked in twice w/o an appt....Once for me & the other for the wife.

Yeah, same here. We were just killing time in the mall and wandered in. Many of the fully-functioning demo watches were available to play with (the ones on the white "wedge" stands that incorporate an iPad mini screen displaying the features.) We both had a good play with those and then an assistant asked if we wanted to try one on? A few minutes later we were trying several on.

I must say it was a very pleasant experience. Just trying cool tech on with no pressure to buy. Enjoyed it.
