Can we make both watch and phone alert us?

Hey everyone, is it possible for both my apple watch and iPhone to vibrate and alert me when I get a new text or email? Right now it seems to only be alerting/vibrating the watch and not the phone.

the point of the watch is to take notifications away from the phone when you're wearing it...

Mine does this with no problem. Do not choose the "mirror your phone" setting. Do a custom setting. Like many other features, the factor settings suck! lol

Wrong. The point of it is to perform up to it's capabilities. It can indeed do what the OP is asking. I think he was asking for help rather than an opinion what the meaning of life is.

Well thank God I didn't give him the meaning of life, right?!? lmao!
 
I understand what your saying, but I want my phone to also vibrate for texts so its easier for me to respond
