Can we overlap the vocal track of 1 song over another?

Hi Garage Band experts,

I would like to take the last minute of one song as it fades out and overlay the vocals in the last 45secs of another song. Can GB do this? If so, can a simpleton do it with GB?

Thanks in advance for you help.

PS: Both songs are existing downloaded songs in my iTunes library. Not songs I've created.

Cross fading one song over another is easy. Just drag them onto the time line so they overlap by 45 seconds, and bring the volume down on one and up on the other. Use volume automation so that it goes smoothly.

But you say "vocals". If you want to extract the vocals from the song. That's hard. It can almost be mostly done
