It would appear Safari uses our online viewing info to provide data for ads to populate other sites we visit.

I see ads for flashlights on FB that are the same as a makers site I visited once. Anyone else see this happening?

Is there a setting I can adjust to have it not do this?

Matter of fact, the top of this very page contains an ad for that same exact brand flashlight.

Try installing the "Ghostery" extension for Safari which will help protect your privacy and keep the ad tracking in check.

You can also install and ad blocker so you at least feel like you have a modicum of privacy from the targeted ads.
