Last time I uninstalled Winterboard, it bricked my phone.

I recall it being a documented problem. Has it been fixed yet?

Can we safely remove Winterboard without bricking?

I'm on iOS 6.1.2 with an iPhone 5 and have not had any problems in the last 2 months. I did just remove it until a lighter colored theme comes out.

When you install winter board it also installs libhide and pincrush. In case you ever wanna remove it again...

thanks guys. I guess the problem was fixed. I uninstalled Winterboard without any problems.

:)

Only a sudden hardware failure can "brick" a phone.
The term "bricking" is horridly overused by those who ready haven't done enough reading or research on how to recover a phone from a software error.
