Can wow be played on a new MacBook pro?

yea people payed wow on single core desktops and ibooks..

Which MBP? Only the HR 15" and the 17" offer a resolution of at least 1600 x 900. As WoW can be played on older Macs with less specs and inferior GPUs, I presume it can be played on the 2011 models.
