1. Someone told me that you have to create a separate exfat partition in the mac HDD to put files from Window, and then import from exfat into the Mac setting.

2. But someone else told me that you can access files in windows by going into Bootcamp folder in Finder in Mac setting.

Which is right?
 
afaik bootcamp has read only NTFS support and read only HFS support for Windows and macOS respectively.
For file exchange I would use external drive for that purpose whenever possible.
 
What is use to read/write windows files within MacOs is Tuxera

To read/write Mac files within Windows is use this.

These are paid options, there are free solutions but that requires more knowledge to install and use.
