Other Can you activate Action Button by short-pressing, not long-pressing?

I don't have iPhone 15. Is there no way to activate Action Button by short-pressing?? Please tell me there is.

Probably so it's not getting accidentally triggered all the time?

I mean I guess so. But the volume and lock buttons are single press.

The action button would be awesome if it had single, double, and long press.

Nothing stops Apple from adding those as software update. So there might be some hope.
