That is, in the same way you plug a digital camera into your iPod to back up your photos...

I'm going overseas, want to buy a Canon TX1 but it only stores 13 minutes of HD on its 4GB storage! So I'm wondering if I take an iPod too, can I just backup the 4GB onto it?

(I'm backpacking, so I'm NOT taking my computer)

I don't think there's a way to do with with a laptop or computer, so no. Make sure that it's a really, really good 13 minutes of footage. :)

its gonna be expensive. Maybe a memory card based one and one of those adapters for an Ipod. It be cheaper to not go HD. Maybe even DV?

But it's HD, HD!!!

DV looks... ya know... DV? (not that I own a HD TV personally, but many many years from now when this is the only memories I have of this trip, they needto look their best :) )

Use the 7.1 MP camera on that thing. Now that's high-def. :) :p
