I have an old windows PC with a CD burner/SuperDrive inside, it is Sata-connected inside the computer.

I am thinking about taking it out and put it together with a Sata to USB A to USB C adapter, will it be able to work as a regular SuperDrive in the MacBook?

I don't see why that wouldn't work... even if it does not, you can buy external USB optical drives very cheaply. Then all you'll need is the USB A to USB C adapter.
