Can you buy Refurb MBP at apple store?

I am thinking if my local apple store has refurb SR 2.4 I might get that instead of 2.4 Penryn.

And is there a student discount on Refurbs?

1. Good way to save on $$. Check from time to time for availability, since what you see today might not be the same tomorrow.

2. Nope. Same goes for the federal discount- there is none on refurbs.

As has been stated in a few other threads, refurbs are available only from the online Apple store. The physical stores do not carry refurbs.
