Can you cancel installation on Bootcamp?

I have a Windows Xp Pro cd without SP2. I've heard of something called slipstreamin, I did that and I was able to put SP2 onto Windows XP but on a different disc. My question is that if for some reason the disc doesn't work or if SP2 wasn't correctly slipstreamed onto the disc, is there a way to cancel the installation?

Also what is the best game that my Macbook Pro can run?
