Can you change the MBP screen?

Suppose i already have a mbp with a glossy screen and i hate it, but i cant sell it or buy another one.
Is it possible to have an apple technician change your glossy mbp screen for a matte one?

You can have my iBook G4 screen 12". I hate it so much, and wish I had a glossy screen.

Realistically I will say no you cannot do what you are asking. You'd be better off exchanging it for a matte screen MBP (if there is such a thing).

Just switch with someone on the forums. It shouldn't be too difficult to switch it out yourself. I'm sure there has to be someone on here who would like the glossy rather than the matte. I have the glossy though and I love it. I would never trade.

no, i think its def possible b/c not too long ago someone on here was advertising a powerbook HD mod, which involved switching the screen from a MBP to a PB. Id say its worth looking into

As mentioned by others, I'd imagine it would be far more cost-effective to sell yours and buy another MBP - or trade - than to eat the cost of a new matte display.
