I'll be overseas and want to check my softbank iPhone mail.

Softbank is my carrier in Japan and I don't know if this is possible. Softbank is imap so I should be able to do thus with any imap service right?

Can both check AND receive?

On my iphone?

But I'll be out of the country so I might not be able to check via iphone
If it is IMAP and you know the settings, you should be able to add it to any device that supports IMAP. Are you using IMAP, in the mail app, on the phone now, or using Safari.

Hi

Yeah of course I'm using mail.app on iPhone with imap. So I guess I just fill in my imap info in OSX Mail.app too and I'm good to go.

I can send and receive mail just like it's my iPhone and no one would be the wiser?

Sweet. Thanks

it should work, you can try it in your mac right now before your trip and have it on you iPhone and your mac, there should be no problems since it's IMAP anything you do in each would be displayed in the other.

Hope you and your dear ones are fine and in good health!

Except it won't say, "Sent from my iPhone." at the bottom unless you add that to your signature. :)
