I'm trying to flash my HD6850 as a preparation for 7xxx or R9 series, which ill buy in next few weeks.
I bought this, Sapphire HD6850, card as i needed some work to be done in FCPX and only other card that i had was really struggling with everything except basic editing (GT220).
So I've been reading everything i could find and tried numerous ways of flashing (Windows with AtiWinFlash, OS X with netkas' script and Zeus, FreeDOS with AtiFlash) and nothing happens, I even tried adding 6850.efi.rom manually after reading one of the Rominators post on netkas forum and still no go.
I bricked it once, at the beginning, while using XFX 6850 bios and i managed to solder chip to bypass it on boot, but every flashing leads to the same result - card is recognized as 6xxx, PCI info shows errors and no boot screens.
Please help, if anybody is willing to take a look and point me in the right direction.
Im uploading 3 files, original rom, myrom made with instructions on netkas forum, and rom i manually made.
All three of them are giving me same results as any standard PC card would do in OS X.
