I know if you buy a new model in the UK you can use the Apple Business section of the site and use your VAT number to get a 15% reduction. Can you do this on Refurbished models though?

Typically only 1 discount is allowed, so either refurb or business discount but doesn't hurt to try.
Well, like you say, I may as well give it a shot when the time comes.. I'm cheap enough
