Can you copy events in calendar app ios4?

Just wondering whether it's possible to copy events from one date to another in the calendar app? I know there is the repeat option but that is only if it is on the same day on following weeks. For example I am trying to copy an event from a weds to the following Friday. Any help would be great

Do you want it on both the Wednesday and the Friday, or are you trying more to move it to Friday? For a move, just change the date, but I've not been able to find any method other than using my Outlook to make these kinds of changes.

You could use the repeat function and set it for Friday and to repeat only one time, but fine tuning repeat functions on the phone itself is a great deal more difficult than it is on the computer using Outlook.
