Can you 'daisy chain' wireless routers?

Here's my situation - I've got an Airport Express in my living room which provides a wireless network to the rest of the house. The signal's not great in some rooms, so what I'd like to do is use my spare Belkin wireless router to place at another point between the Express and the more distant parts of the house so as pic up the signal and then using this, provide a sort of extension to the network.

I'd like to do all this without extra cables if possible.

Now, having done a bit of searching it seems that this might not be possible with the hardware I've got, but I thought I'd ask here in case anyone's managed it before.

depending on what the router supports, yes you can do this. it's called WDS.
