As the thread title suggests, can the ambient light sensors in the 9.7 IPP be disabled?

I hope apps are given an API for automatically disabling True Tone while running. I feel like I'd enjoy this feature overall but don't want it messing with my color balancing in Lightroom, and I'd hate to have to go toggle some setting all the time. Hopefully in iOS X Apple at least lets us modify what controls are in Control Center so we can easily access what we want.

Yeah, you can.
But I wouldn't consider the Pro 9.7' in the first place if you don't need the Apple Pencil.

Yeah, eBay'd my Air 2 to get the IPP 9.7. Am I the only one excited to soon be able to write notes again? Takes me back to the 90's and the Newton!

Yes, you can turn it off in settings. I saw a screen shot of the settings page from one of the reviews (can't remember which one).
