Can you downgrade a 3GS on 4.1 to 4.0?

Hi all. Had a jailbroken 3GS on my phone with 4.0 and used jailbreakme.com. So I downloaded a bunch of awesome apps for jailbroken phones (spent close to $100.00) and then had phone freeze up a few weeks later. The only way I could get phone to work was to restore in itunes and it made me upgrade to 4.1-jailbreak gone....

So I would like to downgrade back to 4.0. Is there a way to do this? I did not save any of the files or anything (I don't know how) but did recently read about recboot and tinyumbrella, so would not make that mistake twice.

I understand that the Greenpois0n jailbreak won't work on the 3GS so now I'm pretty bummed.......

Anyways, is there ANY possible way to go back and rejailbreak?

If you have your SHSHs saved for 4.0 or 4.0.1 you can Downgrade and use jailbreakeme.com to re jailbreak.

3Gs JB for 4.1 will come in Nov after 4.2 is release

Ok, next question, if i don't have the SHSH saved, is there a way to get one? November feels so far away.......

Without SHSHs you got not other option but to wait, sorry. Go ahead and download Tiny Umbrella and save your SHSHs for 4.1 right now (you may need them in NOv or later, you don't want to be on this place again)
