I mentioned this before but can't seem to post in my other thread.

I am using Yahoo mail with my iphone but am not able to forward and email that has an attatchment.

When I select "include original attachment" it only sends the text email and does not forward the attachment.

With Gmail this works but not with Yahoo.

Can anyone shed some light?

What type of attachment are you sending? What filetype, that is.

You are hitting the "reply" button to get the option to "forward", correct? I think that's the only way to do it, but I'm not sure. I've had success forwarding attachments, but I'm using my own domain/hosting.

hey dude, thanks for the reply! I tried to forward an email that had an ms word file attached. Also have tried with an XL file and PDF. It worked before once but no longer does.

Now it just sends the email, even though I select include attachment.

Yeah I hit the reply button>forward>include attachment

Solution??

Did you ever find a fix for this?

I posted the same problem here, but no one has stepped up with a solution

This is a BFD if you ask me. How can you claim email support when I cant even do something as simple as forward an email (attachments and all) ???

I should say I know this post is old, and I'm having this problem on iOS 4.2 and iPhone 4
