I hooked mine up to my LG C2 42 inch and using my Windows PC it's fine as I have a 4090 and 4K 120hz is no problem. However with my Mac Mini it only supports 4K 60 via what I assume is HDMI 2.0 because Apple takes forever to get with the times. Is it possible to get 120 via a USB-C adapter or have Apple restricted it somehow? I would assume they have enough bandwidth?

Thanks.

Hi, i have a Mac Mini M1 with a LG27GL850 monitor with adaptative sync (Gsync and AMD freesunc) and these scenarios with Ventura:

- If i connect via hdmi to the monitor with adaptative sync enable i get 100Hz
- If i connect via hdmi to the monitor without adaptative sync enable i get 120Hz and 144Hz

Hope this helps a bite.

I bought a 4K 120hz cable and it can only do 4K 60 on the Mac mini.

So that answers that question.
