On the fence about getting one because of how ridiculously expensive it is. But if I do decide to purchase one, will I be able to return it and get a full refund back?

Only at the apple stores? I live so far from one. Are there any other alternatives? Such as Best Buys or anything?
At least in the USA, not many stores offer a no questions asked return policy. Some returns with a restocking fee. I mean to be fair would you sell a brand new product, let them try it out for a few weeks and then just bring it back for free? Then you have a used item that’s not worth what you paid for.

You can buy from the Apple Store online. I believe the same return policy still works.

What exactly happens at the demo and how long does it last or can you freely experiment and do whatever you please?

Mine was heavily scripted but I did mine when they first started giving them. I’ve read you can view content on your own iPhone now. I highly recommend it. This device is so different from any other that it has to be experienced. Some like me love it. Others find it uncomfortable to wear. The demo lasts about 30 minutes but I sure they’d go longer if you ask.
