Can you get the Apple Education Promo ($100 Gift Card)...

if you bought your MBP at Best Buy? I called apple and they said I could and directed me to apple.com/promo but there is no option when I wan to select a location.
I called again and they did not seem to know...

Should i email?
 
You can't. However, Best Buy will give you a $100 Best Buy gift card to response to the B2S sale. You just have to ask for it.
 
im in the military and i bought mine on base a few days ago and unfortunately i dont qualify for it either
 
Yes, at first i thought I would not qualify, but on the FAQ it says:

"I purchased my Mac from a location other than an Apple Retail Store, the Apple Online Store, or 1-800-MY APPLE (e.g., Best Buy). Am I eligible for a Back to School Card?
No. Purchases must be made through the Apple Online Store, an Apple Retail Store, 1-800-MY-APPLE, or an Apple Authorized Campus Store. "


So doesnt that imply that you can get the rebate if you purchased through Best Buy??
