Yep, just press the Report button (exclamation mark next to the Share/Like buttons) on your original thread and request its deletion.

You can report it, though if it is (or was) an active thread with replies, its unlikely that we'll delete the thread as its not fair to other members who participated, plus there may be value for other people who in the future will find the thread helpful
