Hi folks, I opened up my mac to try and fix a dent in the case...ended up accidentally knocking off the tiniest of pieces from the logic board and I have no idea what it is. It looks like this (the picture is zoomed in):

Does anyone know what it is or what it does? Here is the piece in context with the rest of the logic board:

Any help would be much appreciated!

Look at these links

I thought at first they could be ground points but they also could be what holds back any ways of having the cover touching the logic board. They are staggered around the logic board randomly and are known for sometimes creaking.
