Can you increase the overall color saturation on a mac?

Hello,

So the current macbook pros have these higher gamut displays.
The macbook airs do not have these. I kind of rather like more saturated colors. Is there a way to increase the color saturation? You can easily do it in windows 7. I know that it won't make the air's screen high gamut, but I just want reds to be redder and greens to be greener.

I have tried the os x calibration tool, but that doesn't seem to help.

Yes. But not in the same way. Why not calibrate to accurate?
