Can you install Final Cut Studio on to a NTFS external HD and then use MacFuse and NTFS-3g to run it?

I just don't want to install all of those gigs on my macbook pro, and I was seeing if this was an option.

Thanks,

i dont think you can and it would safer to install it on you main HD which is formatted as HFS+ as lots of other files are installed in addition to the FCS apps. you could give it a try though. in the FCS installer select the external HD and see if it works. nothing to lose.
