Can I install iOS apps when I have no iOS devices?

It seems I can install iOS apps that I installed a long time ago when I had an iPad 3. But now I don't have any iOS device and there doesn't seem to be a way to browse and install iOS apps

Not looking for any app in particular. Just curious

Are you saying that you don't see the "iPhone & iPad Apps" section in the macOS App Store application?

Since I have iOS/iPadOS devices I can't test…but in the macOS App Store application I'm able to search in "iPhone & iPad Apps" and install apps that I never purchased in iOS. Not all iOS apps show up in these searches, though.

Whether a particular app works in macOS or not is another question.

There are alternate (if not dodgy) methods to install some iOS/iPadOS apps, also.
