Can you jailbreak iPod touch 4G running iOS 4.2 Beta 3?

My iPod touch 4G is running iOS 4.2 Beta 3, and I want to know if any jailbreak will work with it, such as greenpois0n or limera1n. (I have a PC)

I don't think so. The teams don't want to show Apple what exploit they'll use before it ships and Apple has a chance to patch it. You won't see a jailbreak for 4.2 until after it comes out.

No jb for beta firmwares.

Yeah, I just tried with both limera1n and greenpois0n, and none of them worked

I wonder if it would be possible to insert the old Safari app and jailbreak with Jailbreakme..

*facepalm* yeah, but how to replace Safari app if it isn't jailbroken.. oops

This post isn't useful except if someone finds a way to replace the Safari app, but then, will the iPod be able to reboot? Because maybe the exploit that makes the jailbreak untethered has been patched in 4.2 (Probably)
