Can you leave Apple TV on all the time?

Can you leave Apple TV on all the time, or do you have to turn it off so it doesn't get hot or ends up not functioning over time? I plan to buy the new Apple TV (which will be my first ever), and wanted to know if I can keep it powered on all the time like my TV and cable box...

Yes, you can leave the TV on all the time and no it won't get hot because there is no hard drive.

I leave my gen 1 on all the time, and it runs about a zillion times hotter than the new model.

You'll have no problems.
