Can you let someone else pick up your reserved phone?

I have a phone reserved at the Apple store for Thursday... I am thinking about waiting for a white one. Can a friend use my reservation and pick up a phone for himself? There is no kind of reservation number on the confirmation email, so I don't know what information he would need to give them to get my phone.

The reservation is linked to your Apple account. You either need to be there or he/she needs to be listed on the account.
