Can You Make Changes to Preorders

I have a preorder for an iPhone 7 Plus that is currently scheduled to ship 10/10 - 10/17 and is processing order hell. I see that it mentions that you're able to still make changes to an order while its still processing. I'm sure that this means billing, address, etc... but my question is are you able to change your color choice while the order is processing? Or do you have to cancel that order and make a new one? If you can change your color does this move back your shipping date? Or do you keep your same spot?

You put in an order and held a spot for a specific phone gb size and color if you change any of that unfortunately youd have to cancel and re order

If youre changing from jet black to something else you will get it before november for sure lmfao but if ur changing to jet black itll be a while.
