Anyone watched The Bikeriders, with Tom Hardy?

I didn't think much of it, the first watch, but now I really like it and have watched it a few times.

What film/movie had to grow on you?

One of the top of my head was "Donne Darko". Saw it, didn't think much of it. Saw someone mention it on another forum, gave it a go again and it is now one of those movies that I really-really like. So much so, that I have purchased it multiple times on various physical media platforms. Both me and the misses usually watch it once a year around Halloween. I am sure there are others...

You know what? I tried to watch that a little while ago, and it didn't appeal to me.

I'll have to give it another go.

Thanks 👍🏼.

I was bewildered the first time I saw Moulin Rouge. I liked the actors and the music though. When I saw it again it just clicked. Now it’s one of my favorites.

Oddly enough, The Sound of Music falls into this category.

As a small child, I couldn't stand it (and I'm not sure that I actually understood it), - I was the sort of child that didn't much care for movies that featured children (with the sole, single, splendid exception of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang); as a grumpy teen, I thought it almost risible, however, as an adult, I think it an excellent, exceedingly well made movie.

I love that movie... You are right, it didn't click for me until I watched it several more times. The wife on the other hand loved it from the first time she watched it. The music is great to boot!!!!

I loved the sound of music as a child. I watched it like a hundred times. I need to do another rewatch. I have 2 boys I don’t think I could get them to watch it though 😭
