Hi guys,

I just upgraded one of our dev iPads to iOS 8, it's managed through Airwatch and requires a password with a certain complexity but now that its upgrade that password (which is letters, numbers, and symbols) no longer works and its a numeric passcode now and I can't figure out how to change it back.

Was this some kind of change made does anyone know? I can only make pass codes with numbers now but need to make it with letters and symbols also.

Assuming you can get into the iPad Settings > Touch ID and Passcode > Toggle Simple Passcode Off

It is off which is the weird thing. It lets me enter a 6 digit passcode (verses 4 for simple passcode) but no letters and characters.

EDIT: Ok it's fixed. I re-synced with Airwatch, then when I went to change my passcode I was able to enter letters. The re-syching seemed to do the trick.
