Hello,

I use MS Exchange. I noticed while testing out a friend's iphone that under Options for email you can choose to save up to the 200 most recent emails. Does this mean anything past the 200 most recent are not accessible on the iphone? (ie: if I need to search for an older email that I have in my Exchange inbox, I won't be able to find it on the iphone if it's not one of the 200 most recent emails?)

TIA :)

Search also has a "continue search on server" that will return results. So if it isn't in your 200 it will let you do the search on the old messages. Even if it does return results it has that button at the bottom of the list.

I just tried it to find a message that was #640 in my inbox.

Also, it is not really the 200 most recent. It appears to be 200 messages total... switching between folders/accounts can cause what it has stored to fluctuate.
