Can you overcharge AirPods?

If I was to use a 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 station for iPhone, Watch and AirPods is it safe to leave the AirPods on it for days at a time?

I don't normally use them on the weekend so wondering if I forget to take them off the charger, would that damage the battery?

Obvious a cheap dock might not help but if it was a reliable name like Belkin or Anker?

I use a 3 in 1 dock that has a lightening connector molded in a receptacle for an AirPods gen 1 or 2 case. No issues at all as the AirPods case will cease charging when full,

Someone mentioned in another thread that AirPods case was charged even when full and was warm when removed. Also tested with charge tester
