hi

Can you password protect pages documents? I been looking in pages and have searched the web but with no luck. This is one of the only reasons why I have to use Microsoft Word on the mac.

I know it's possible, as I just read it here, but no instructions how. Just apple + F and type in password, that's how I found it.

How do I password protect my PAGES doc

How do I password protect my PAGES doc? I like the program, but need to password protect my journal. How do I?

You can password protect your Pages document by opening it, then clicking on the Document inspector’s Document pane, and then checking Require Password To Open.

You can also export it as an encrypted PDF and delete the Pages doc, but if it's something you edit on a regular basis it might become tedious. Better idea: password protect your user account so you don't have to deal with individual documents or files.
