I don't like the fact that photos are so easy to access, without a pin-code or anything. Is there any way to prevent/change this?

Can you prevent iPhone from syncing like a digital camera?
Yes you can! Download the photos on the camera roll to your computer, with your Photo application, then delete them from the camera roll. If you want them back on your phone, use iTunes to sync them back into your Photo Library, on the phone. The computer will recognize your phone as a camera anytime there is a photo in the camera roll.

There is app in the app store, which has password access, that will let you store your photos in the app. I don't remember the name of it, and I didn't want to have to enter a password, every time I wanted to view my pics, so I deleted it.
