Can you put blu ray rips onto an iPad?

Hi everyone!

After browsing the web and seeing a blu ray rip which is about 6gb, i was wondering if it is possible to sync it on an iPad as if it was a normal dvd rip?
so... just drag it into movies on itunes and sync.
