New Apple Watch S5...

So if I go out without my phone, I‘m able to receive calls and text messages. But I’m not getting any third party notifications. As an example, if I take a break from work and go for a walk without my phone, I don’t get any Slack notifications on my watch. Get back to my desk and phone, and there they are, on the phone. My phone is connected to wi-if and cellular is on, just locked when I leave. Same thing fo WhatsApp as well. They will be on my phone when I get back but not my watch when away.

I do receive those notifications on my watch, if I’m working, with my phone on the desk next to me.

Those should come through just fine over cellular - your iPhone does need to be on and connected to a network. You can even reply to Slack notifications over cellular and I have done so before, pretty great!

I’m guessing that since you’re getting the notifications while on Bluetooth, you have them set properly to mirror phone?

Yes, everything is setup to mirror my phone in the watch app. I went through the Slack notifications and everything looks good there as well. Going to do some more testing today...

Did you ever figure out how to get it fixed? I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting. Signed out/in to iMessage. unpaired/repaired watch. Still no 3rd party notifications on cellular. The phone is on and on WiFi at home.
