Can you return an opened refurbished iPad to Apple?

I'm thinking of picking up a refurbished iPad, but I can't find the return policy on apple.com. But let's say I buy a refurbished ipad 3, use it for a week, and decide I'd rather get the mini, can I return an open and used refurbished ipad to apple for a full refund?
